I'm Auntie Maddie - my niece Abbie!

I was lucky enough to be visited by my big sister Lisa and niece Abbie last weekend (Danny helped Daddy with the turf!). Abbie loves to hold me (I think she is getting in practice for when Lisa has her baby in a few months time! I'll be an Auntie again!!!)

Helping in the garden!

Daddy was really busy last weekend laying turf in our back garden. This has meant Mummy was very busy looking after me, Sam and Harry whilst he did it. When Daddy finished, he needed to water it, and since Mummy had to take Harry to a party, I went out in the garden to help Daddy!

Weight Check: Week 9

Mummy ventured to the clinic again yesterday with me and Sam. I now weigh 10lb 7oz (4.77kg) which is exactly 3lbs heavier than when I was born! Still on the 25th centile though.

First Set of Jabs

Not a very nice day for me today -I had my first set of jabs. Despite me coughing and sneezing alot in the night and this morning, the nurse said it was okay for me to have my jabs since I didn't have a temperature (Mummy tried to get me out of having them!!!).

I screamed as soas the nurse did the injections but soon calmed down! Have been sleeping a lot this afternoon though. Mummy is hoping that it won't affect my sleeping tonight since I was a really good girl last night and slept from 7pm till 7am with a quick feed at 2am!

I'm Auntie Maddie - my nephew Charlie!

I am really lucky that as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters, I also have 1 niece and 2 nephews!
My nephew Charlie came for tea tonight and he held me for ages!

Weight Check: Week 7

Me and Mummy had to go to the Doctors last week for our postnatal check up. Both of us are doing okay! The nurse weighed me and I am now 9lb 6oz and my head circumference is 38cm, which is 2.5cm bigger than when I was born!

Mummy has now put me onto bottles, which means I am feeding a bit quicker, although I don't seem to be sleeping much more!! Daddy offered to help Mummy out last night and feed me during the night. I was such a good girl and only woke once (when I usually wake up twice for Mummy). It also means Sam is less jealous of Mummy holding me all the time!

Dresses!

After having 2 boys. Mummy was delighted to have a girl! She takes every opportunity for me to wear a dress! I hope I still like pink when I am older because I think Mummy will make me wear it every day!

My first holiday!

When I was 5 weeks old, I went on my first holiday. Mummy and Daddy took me to Pagham to stay in a caravan with some of my brothers and sisters, niece and nephew!

I had a lovely time and was very well behaved! Mummy and Daddy said I was no trouble at all, and you wouldn't have known I was there!

Weight Check: Week 5

Mummy ventured to the clinic for the first time with me and Sam. My weight had gone up to 8lb 8.5oz, which Mummy was well pleased with! Still no bottles for me!

Weight Check: Week 3

Mummy was getting a bit worried about my weight, as she was breast feeding me lots and lots and wasn't convinced she was doing it correctly!

When I was 3 weeks old, the Health Visitor came round to weigh me and I was 7lb 130z (3.56kg) which is 6 oz heavier than when I was born - Mummy was relieved! The health visitor also gave Mummy lots of breast feeding tips to help her!

All my cards!

When I was born, lots of people sent me cards! Mummy and Daddy couldn't believe how many cards and presents we got (especially as I am number 3!) but we are so lucky!

Whilst Mummy and Daddy were busy opening all my cards and presents, I liked to sleep a lot!
